Dorothy A. Reynolds is the current program director of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center within the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation. Ms. Reynolds has over twenty-five years experience in domestic/international sales and marketing leadership in industrial intermediates and a consumer products with Union Carbide, Westinghouse, and Monsanto. She was president of Teknor Apex International Inc. in Pawtucket, RI for 17 years and has assisted several startup manufacturing businesses through strategic assessment and commercialization. As a native Rhode Islander, Dorothy ahs been involved with numerous civic organizations in the state and has served on the boards of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, and the Rhode Island Rural Development Council and is involved with non-profit organizations dedicated to the economic environment of Rhode Island. Ms. Reynolds received her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Winthrop University in South Carolina and has been a guest lecturer on international business and performance metrics at Bryant College, Johnson and Wales University, and the University of Rhode Island.
