Armond T. Mascelli

Mr. Mascelli is responsible for coordinating the American Red Cross response to major domestic disasters, and for managing the organization’s Disaster Communications, Logistics, and Human Resources Systems. Mr. Mascelli also oversees the operation of the American Red Cross Armed Forces Emergency Services stations in the United States and overseas. 

Mr. Mascelli has held a variety of positions with the American Red Cross. He has served on and directed numerous American Red Cross disaster relief operations in the United States., and also served on several Red Cross foreign assignments including South Vietnam, Turkey, Central American, and the Middle East. 

He represented the American Red Cross in the Congressionally Commissioned Task Force on Aviation Disasters, in the development of the Federal Response Plan and the National Response Plan.

Mr. Mascelli received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton and a Master’s degree from Marywood University, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
