Carol Malysz is the Director
of the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE), Rhode Island. The Center
provides training, loan packaging assistance, counseling, and mentoring
services to current and potential women entrepreneurs. In the past four
years since the Center has opened, more than 2800 women-owned business have
received mentoring, training, and counseling from the Center, while 111
women entrepreneurs have received $13 million in bank financing through
CWE’s loan program.
Ms. Malysz has an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a diverse
professional background that includes positions in business development and
strategic marketing for industry, government, and non-profit organizations.
In 2001, Carol received the Rhode Island Small Business Administration
“Women in Business Advocate” award. In 2003, Carol was appointed as a
Rhode Island Commodore by Governor Donald Carcieri to serve as an economic
development ambassador for Rhode Island. |
