Christopher T. Cushing is President and CEO of The Commonwealth Group. Mr. Cushing represents clients in transactions and investments in which there is an interaction among political, business, regulatory and legal environments. His clients include both multinational corporations and small start-up ventures that seek to differentiate themselves from the competition and win homeland security contracts.  

Mr. Cushing first came to Washington to serve as a principal advisor to former United States Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole from 1985 through 1988.  Prior to joining Senator Dole's staff, Mr. Cushing was Director of Government Relations for Boston Capital Corporation, the nation's fourth largest owner of multi-family housing. 

An expert on political organization and strategy, Mr. Cushing has and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Bowdoin College.
