Sprint
E. J. (“Ned”) Holland, Jr. is Vice President – Compensation,
Benefits, Labor and Employee Relations for Sprint, the Kansas City based
global communications company. He has held that position since May 2000. In
that capacity he is responsible for compensation programs, major corporate
benefits, as well as labor and employee relations on an enterprise wide
basis. This includes responsibility for the Company’s short and long-term
compensation programs, including stock option programs; retirement and
welfare benefits, including purchasing health care for the Company’s
70,000 employees and 18,000 retirees nationwide; relations with the
international unions that represent a portion of the Company’s employees;
as well as general employee relations policies. Educated at Rockhurst
College and Boston College Law School, he joined the law firm in 1968 and
spent almost 24 years representing employers and particularly health care
providers in labor and employee relations matters. |
